Description Arguably the most iconic piece by Swiss-born architect and designer Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret), the LC4 Chaise Longue exemplifies the modernist pursuit of form following function. Designed in 1928 in collaboration with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, this sculptural lounger is engineered to follow the natural contours of the body, offering exceptional comfort. This is a beautiful vintage early example of the LC4, with original paper label still attached. Origination: Italy, 1970s production by Cassina (proven by the rubber/metal upper supports), serial number engraved on the frame. Condition: Very good. The cover was replaced in the past with a new Cassina-made one. Materials: Leather upholstery, tubular steel frame, black metal base. Approximate Dimensions: Height: 70 cm Width: 60 cm Depth: 160 cm
