The lithograph is in excellent condition, professionally framed, signed and numbered.   About the artist: Bernard Buffet was a prominent French painter, renowned for his distinctive and powerful artistic style. His works featured somber color palettes, bold lines, and emotionally charged forms. As a leading figure of “L’Art Informel,” Buffet’s art often depicted elongated figures, still life compositions, and haunting landscapes. During the 1950s and 1960s, he achieved remarkable commercial success and international recognition. Despite facing criticism from some art circles, Buffet remained popular with a broader audience. Tragically, he battled depression and financial hardships later in his career, leading to his suicide.
