Description Candle holder designed by Gabriella Crespi, featuring a natural horn base with polished brass elements. The piece is signed on the brass with Crespi’s name and logo. It reflects Crespi’s ongoing interest in natural materials and her sculptural approach to functional objects. Crespi’s engagement with organic forms began in the mid 1950s, when she created sculptural works incorporating natural elements. The Horn Candle Holder was first presented in 1965 as part of a collection in which natural components were mounted on geometric structures or cast using the lost-wax method.
