9097/2 Competition Sled The current Sidea Competition Sled represents the evolution of an established project, resulting from numerous successive redesigns developed based on feedback from a growing number of gyms, functional fitness boxes, and training centers that use the Sidea sled for athletic preparation, metabolic conditioning, and preparation for HYROX® and DEKA® competitions. Also known as a Prowler Sled, Dog Sled, or Power Sled, the Competition Sled is distinguished by a large, heavy, and structurally non-deformable frame, designed to maintain stability and integrity even under heavy loads and intensive use. The frame is equipped with a double central loop for attaching the 1712 Sled Pulling Rope and four attachment points dedicated to the R9097 Sled Harness, allowing for the safe and repeatable execution of sled pull exercises. The wide and carefully finished sliding skids ensure smooth and constant friction, preventing snags and ensuring continuity of movement on dedicated artificial turf tracks. The push poles, with a diameter of 49 mm and a length of 99 cm (106 cm height from the ground), are designed to offer an optimal grip and allow for the execution of all the main sled push techniques provided for in training protocols and in competition. The insertion of the poles into the frame is gravity-based, allowing for a quick change of direction by simply moving the poles, without needing to rotate the sled. The pole-sled connection is also designed to minimize play, improving precision, stability, and control during the exercise. The central stainless steel weight plate holder, 49 mm in diameter and 85 cm long, is designed to handle heavy loads, even with wide-shouldered rubber bumper plates or low-weight discs. The use of stainless steel ensures maximum durability, preventing wear from repeated plate insertion and guaranteeing consistent smoothness and reliability over time. The 9097/2 Competition Sled includes the complete sled and a pair of R9097/2 Push Tubes. To create a complete SLED PUSH and SLED PULL station, the following accessories can be integrated: Sled Pulling Rope – nylon rope, Ø38mm, 15m, 15kg, with carabiner. R9097/2 Push Tube – pair of push poles, Ø49mm, additional to the included tubes. R9097 Sled Harness – padded harness, quick-release buckle, 220cm straps, three carabiners. 9192/RMH Black artificial turf track, 17.5 x 2 m, dedicated SLED PUSH and SLED PULL markers.
