3025 Yoga/Pilates mat 1×2 m Large mat, 1×2 m, made of durable PVC, rollable and non-slip. Same material, texture, and 6 mm thickness as the Pilates mats, it is a multipurpose mat generically suitable for all kinds of activities, yoga, free body exercises, and also as protection of fitness areas or placement of cardio-fitness equipment, e.g., bikes. The mat stretches and rolls easily and does not tend to curl, adhering well to the floor.   The Yoga/Pilates Mat 3025 is characterized by its size, 1×2 m, which is significantly larger than a standard fitness mat. It is made of PVC, the same material, texture, and 6 mm thickness, as Pilates Mat 3024, standard size 173 x 61 cm, while appearing soft and comfortable to the touch, it is durable and not very deformable. Because of the large size, it can be generically suitable for all kinds of activities and can also be adopted as a protective base where to place equipment dedicated to fitness; equipment to be used free-body, but also cardio-fitness equipment, such as bikes for example. The mat stretches and rolls easily and does not tend to curl, adhering well to the floor.   Dimensions 1000 x 2000 mm. Thickness 6 mm Shoe soles are the enemy of mats, especially when performing exercises that require high grip and thus high friction and abrasion. Recommended models for this kind of situation, which will always result in a high degree of wear, are mats cod. 3024, cod.3025, cod. 0400, cod. 0400/1, cod. 0401. Not recommended are cod. 3016, specifically for use without shoes, cod. 0407. Mats cod. 0403 cod. 0403/1 are short models, created so that the shoes remain outside. So you should try to avoid, as much as possible, contact between mat and shoes to limit wear and tear. All mats are produced through polymers in the rubbery state. Elasticity and softness characterize the different models in various ways, hence the comfort to pleasantness to the touch. The soles of sports shoes are also made through rubbery materials but, due to their function; sports on concrete, asphalt, wood, etc., adopt much harder and abrasive materials. Materials, solutions and thicknesses, unsuitable for making mats. Therefore, shoe soles are inevitably the enemy of mats, especially when performing exercises that result in high grip and thus high rubbing. Mountain climbing-type exercises, for example, will immediately ruin any mat if one does not take care to keep the feet off the tool. It is not a matter of quality, and it is not even a matter of time, but mainly a matter of materials and the way you use them.
