ROUND PRO PU DUMBBELL The 8802-8879 Round Pro PU Dumbbell series is the result of over twenty years of experience in supplying commercial gyms and major fitness club chains. Engineered to withstand intensive use, these dumbbells face the toughest challenge every day: improper handling, uncontrolled drops, and impacts on unsuitable surfaces—real threats to any equipment. Their construction relies on two fundamental principles: a high-strength mechanical coupling between the handle and weights, which minimizes the risk of breakage, and a thermoplastic polyurethane coating of our selection, tested for superior performance. This material, chosen for its compactness and elasticity, offers excellent protection against wear, impacts, and external elements. The shaft is fixed, and the weights are secured through a safety plate integrated into the cast iron core, which is coated with thermoplastic polyurethane. This minimizes the risk of weight detachment, even under intensive or improper use. The chrome handle, with a medium-deep knurled grip, is non-rotating: this means there is no reduction in inertia due to weight rotation during workouts, ensuring a full and high-impact training experience. Each dumbbell is marked with its weight in kilograms and can be quickly stored on the dedicated Dumbbell Rack (code 8880), designed for efficient organization with a space-saving sliding system. Additional Dumbbell Series Available To meet different training needs, the following dumbbell series are also available: Neoprene-coated dumbbells (code 2121 – 2130): Available in weights from 0.5 to 10 kg, ideal for PT studios, home gyms, and fitness centers with controlled use. The soft and pleasant neoprene coating offers excellent grip but may get damaged if dropped. Chrome dumbbells (code 1161-1170): Round dumbbells ranging from 1 to 10 kg, perfect for toning and light strengthening exercises. Hex rubber-coated dumbbells (code 8901-8950 Hex Rubber Dumbbell): Designed for excellent floor stability, these reduce the risk of rolling and are ideal for functional and bodyweight training. DUMBBELLS ARE NOT DROP-RESISTANT Drops can cause micro-cracks in the connection between the handle and the weights, which over time may expand and lead to breakage, even after many months.
