9021 Seal Row Bench

Seal Row Bench The Seal Row Bench, also known as the Chinese Bench, or Chinese Row Bench, is a bench for professional use specifically designed for performing horizontal barbell pull-up exercises. The padding, 128 cm long, is shaped in such a way as to provide the athlete with a large support surface for the middle part of the body and, at the same time, the best freedom of vision and movement, for the upper part. Padding and its supporting frame are extremely thin, only 10 cm, so as not to restrict the range of movement when working out. The upholstery is made of faux leather with embossed faux leather effect, to achieve the best compromise between wear resistance and grip. Although height settings are rare, the bench is adjustable to six positions, from 60 to 83 cm.  The Seal Row Bench is also equipped with a pair of barbell supports, which are very useful for facilitating the loading and unloading of discs, including bumper discs, rather than as a starting and finishing point during exercises. In fact, we recommend performing the rower by starting and finishing the exercise from the floor. The rubber-coated wheels allow easy movement and positioning of the bench within the gymnasium. The 9021 bench can be used with a standard straight barbell, or with the 9011/2 SEAL ROW BARBELL. The 9011/2 is a 160 cm long, 15 kg curved barbell specifically designed for the 9021 bench. The camber (curvature) allows greater freedom of movement because it shifts the interference point between the barbell and bench by a good twenty centimetres. The curvature does not touch the floor if the barbell is resting on the bench’s barbell supports, or if used with bumper discs. The deep, volcano-shaped knurl, 26 cm long, is positioned in such a way as to warn the athlete that a further tight grip, i.e., beyond the end of the knurl, will interfere with the barbell supports if you aim at ending the exercise by repositioning the barbell on the supports, instead of finishing it, as recommended, with the barbell on the floor. Not just SEAL ROW BENCH.  From its use in the gym, as some of our pictures show, the 9021 bench has also proved useful for performing exercises other than seal row, starting with dumbbell variations of the same pull-up exercises. This is mainly due to the height of the bench, which in many cases is comfortable and suitable for the most diverse applications.
