The hook has a WLL of 2,500lbf (gate closed) and 1,000lbf (gate open). The OX HOOK also features a 3000lbf rated locking gate, making rescue situations more efficient. Finally, the gate can be locked in the open position so it can be used in a more traditional handline hook manner.
