Description The mild steel soil probe is an older design, yet still popular among diehard soil samplers. The soil probe tip is rolled steel and non-replaceable. The mild probe extension is designed to reach the 24-48 soil depth, by going down the same hole made after collecting the 0-24 inch soil depth with larger diameter 24-inch soil probe. Length: 24 inch. Opening diameter: 5/8 inch. Requires extension rod with pin-type linkage (SKU 20304002). Limited stock available.
