Description The Lampione Floor Lamp, designed by Fabio Lenci for iGuzzini in 1968, exemplifies post-war innovation with its organic design and pioneering use of materials. This black version of the Lampione, features a sleek stem made from Baydur polyurethane foam, a durable, weather-resistant material ideal for the outdoors. Its acrylic lampshade contrasts with the soft, natural form of the base, reflecting the bold use of colours and playful materials typical for the Pop Art era. Lenci’s expertise in foam technology and his avant-garde experimentation make this lamp a standout example of 1960s post-war design, blending industrial and organic elements. Note that the foot switch is a design classic on its own by Achille Castiglioni. The top part of the lamp swivels and can separated from the base for transport.
