BLACK RUBBER BUMPER PLATES Composed of the 5, 10 15, 20 and 25 Kg sizes, entirely black colored, the Black Rubber Bumper Plates line is designed to obtain the best value-for-money rate. The plates are entirely made in rubber and are designed for weightlifting, powerlifting and cross-training use, therefore also to be used for barbell drops. In order to guarantee a distributed point of contact of the weight on the ground, and a standardly determined height of the barbell, the Bumper Plates all feature the same external diameter, conventionally set at 45 cm. Thanks to its mechanical characteristics, syntetic rubber is the most suitable material for this kind of plates. The high quality of the rubber, almost odorless, with a remarkable coefficient of elasticity and good mechanical strength, allows an exceptional level of durability even considering the adoption of the internal ring. The steel ring, placed to protect the collar opening, represents the most common and economic building solution, but it has the limit of protecting less the internal part of the rubber plate from wear. Nonetheless, this Bumper Plates model brilliantly passed the test of the 20,000 drops.
